Trendy Crafts Camp at "A Child Becomes" Preschool Location!
Julie and Elizabeth have been crafting together for more than a decade. Five years ago they brought their love of crafting and kids together and started Trendy Crafts as an after-school program at their children's school. Soon word was out in West Seattle and the program was requested at several other schools. From there the class really took off as Trendy Crafts grew with the help of other crafty teachers wanting to share the joy of creating.

How we serve in our local and global community:
As a mothers and educators, we believe every child has the right to an education. For nearly a decade, we have been working with the global humanitarian organization, CARE.org to support and empower children around the world.
As the creator of the original WWII care package, today, CARE works in more than 90 countries to deliver lasting change. Every Spring, founders, Julie and Elizabeth lobby on Capitol Hill with CARE to champion the rights of mothers and children around the world.
We also volunteer with Girl Scouts of Western Washington to encourage and inspire girls in our community. In addition to the very crafty Girl Scout troop that Elizabeth leads, we also volunteer as Cabin Leaders at Camp Chinook every summer.
